Recently, atravel influencerwent viralfor listing out all the people you should never take a trip with. His list included things like picky eaters, people who don’t stipulate budgets ahead of time, and those who disrespect the local culture.
It sparked a prettyheated debateonline, with many agreeing, and others, well, not so much.
Still, traveling can show you so much about a person. Like, have you ever traveled with someone and realized, sweet baby Jesus, I can never do this again!?
So, now it’s your turn: Tell me, what types of people do you avoid taking trips with?
Maybe your “airport dad” is actually really annoying to travel with, and kinda makes everyone else on the trip feel like they’re at bootcamp with his hour-by-hour itinerary. You want to roll out of bed at noon, piña colada in hand, whereas he’s already midway through his back-to-back sightseeing tours.
Perhaps you decided to extend your stay with some coworkers after a work trip, but you learned the hard way to never do that again. You wanted to enjoy your few days off, but everyone else was not really grasping the concept of “out of office” and thought the ocean-view restaurant was the perfect place to discuss daily sales.
Or maybe you realized you’ll never travel with your friend again after the last trip. They’re a complete know-it-all, and you just couldn’t jive with it. You’re trying to learn about the new culture and customs from the locals yourself, but they’re constantly talking over everyone. We get it, dude, you read!
