“ I do n’t want it to be , like , the whole clip , ‘ Kim ’s covetous of the wedding ceremony , ’ ’cause I ’m really not . He ’s so improbable , I ca n’t even , ” Kim tell in an old installment ofKUWTKas she expressed her issue with Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom getting marry .
In this week’s episode ofThe Kardashians,Kim KardashianreducedKourtney Kardashianto tears during a prettyexplosive argument.#
And while it’s no secret that Kim and Kourt havebutted heads numerous timesover the years, this particular conversation left viewers at home seriously uncomfortable — namely due to the way Kimweaponized Kourtney’s friends and childrento hurt her.#
For context, Kourtney had previouslyaccusedKim of ripping off her wedding ideas and using the big day as a“business opportunity,”given that Kim collaborated with Dolce & Gabbana — the brand that hosted the luxury event — just four months after Kourtney’s wedding toTravis Barker.#
Throughout the last season of the Hulu show, their mom,Kris Jenner, and sister Khloé Kardashian sided with Kim as they poked fun at Kourt numerous times. Meanwhile, Kourtney accused Kim of only seeing “dollar signs” as she labeled her a selfish and money-driven individual.#
So it’s safe to say that tensions have been running high for a minute now. And while Kourt and Kim did end upsquashing their beefby the end of the season, watching back the episodes when they aired ended up reigniting a lot of the drama between the sisters.#
This was addressed during the heated phone call they had in this week’s episode. Toward the beginning of the chat, Kourtney told Kim, “I think it’s that you saw this thing that was mine and that wasn’t yours, and that you wanted it. You took it and made it bigger.”#
Kim denied this, maintaining that she didn’t even like Kourtney’s wedding theme because it wasn’t really her “thing.” Kourt then said that Kim was focusing on the “bullshit details” instead of addressing the real issue at hand, which was how miserable she apparently was at the wedding.#
“You’re talking about the bullshit details because it’s all your egotistical, selfish mind can think about,” Kourt said. “You cannot stand someone else being the center of attention.”#
She went on, “You complained from the second you got there until the second you left. That’s what it’s about. Forget about you couldn’t be happy, you couldn’t be happy for me. You couldn’t be happy that I was the center of attention and you weren’t.”#
But Kourt didn’t seem fazed by Kim’s claim that all of her friends were badmouthing her behind her back, instead telling her sister, “You are a narcissist. It is all about you. Anything you do, it’s about you and about how it looks to the world about you.”#
Once again, Kim went on to tell Kourt that everyone is “concerned” about her, before stooping even lower and saying that Kourt’s three young kids — Mason, Penelope, and Reign —complain about her behind her backtoo.#
“Well, your kids have even come to me with problems that they have and how you are,” she said. In response, Kourtney broke down in tears before telling Kim, “It’s you and my friends and my kids and everyone against me. You’re a fucking witch, and I fucking hate you.”#
Some people went on to suggest that Kim’s apparent determination to hurt Kourtney and involvement in the “Not Kourtney” group chat appeared to be a projection of her own insecurities.#
“Bringing her kids into the conversation that she knows is being recorded should tell you everything about Kim,” one person wrote, while others suggested that she was“jealous”of Kourtney and Travis’s happy marriage.#
Kim, who has been married three times, most recently filed for divorce fromKanye West— who has legally changed his name to Ye — in 2021 after eight years together. She previously opened up about feeling like a“failure” and a “loser”when things ended between them, and admitted that she’d been unhappy in their marriage “for years.”#
In light of all this, it wasn’t long before fans dug up anage-old clip of Kimseemingly projecting similarly negativeemotionswhen Khloé got married toLamar Odomin 2009.#
For context, Khloé and Lamar had been together for just two weeks before deciding to tie the knot. At the time, their relationship seemed like something out of a fairy tale, with Khloé repeatedly sharing that she’d“never been so happy.”#
However, despite how visibly happy Khloé was, Kim made it clear that she wasn’t quite on board with her and Lamar’s whirlwind decision to get married. “I just don’t like how, three weeks after meeting someone … I really don’t know if this is such a good idea,” Kim told her family members during a 2010 episode ofKeeping Up With the Kardashians.#
Her brother Rob appeared frustrated at Kim in the clip, telling her, “OK, Kim, we get it, that’s how you feel. But it’s gonna happen next week, and that’s it — and it has nothing to do with you.”#
But while Kim was initially expressing concern at the alarmingly short amount of time that Khloé and Lamar had known each other, she unnecessarily went on to say that she’d personally never go for the NBA player herself because she felt he was way too tall.#
“I don’t want it to be, like, the whole time, ‘Kim’s jealous of the wedding,’ ’cause I’m really not. He’s so tall, I can’t even,” she said.#
Visibly perplexed, Rob asked her, “What does he have to do with anything?” Kim replied, “I’m saying I’m not jealous.” Interestingly, Kim ended up marrying Kris Humphries, who is almost exactly the same height as Lamar, just two years later.#
He later called Kim out directly, telling her, “It’s really rude to say that about Khloé. She’s marrying this guy. You said you wouldn’t wanna be married to that guy anyway ’cause he’s tall — who gives a fuck?” Kim responded by calling Rob an “asshole,” while Kris sided with her.#
“And if you think Kim is not jealous or upset about her love life think again, How can you have a group chat to basically bash your sister and then to bring up her kids was low of her,” someone else wrote.#
You can watch the latest episode ofThe Kardashiansnow on Hulu or on Disney+ internationally. The next episode will be released Oct. 5.#
