If you’ve ever been in a relationship, situationship, or all of the above, then you’ve definitely dealt with some red flags. They’re pretty hard to ignore, and they either make or break the partnership.
But sometimes you care about your partner a whole lot, and simply put up with the major red flags. So that made me want to ask you, dear reader: Tell us a relationship red flag your partner has that you have to deal with.
Maybe your partner cheated on you the day before your wedding, initially making you feel FURIOUS. They continue to cheat to this day (thinking “you don’t know”), but you believe your love is more powerful than any affair — so you stick around.
Or perhaps your S.O. leaves the door open whenever they go to the bathroom. You thought it was supremely gross when you first started dating, and your mind hasn’t changed!!! But you can’t live without them, so you ride it out.
Or maybe your loved one’s political views are the COMPLETE opposite of yours. At first it was a major red flag, and it still irks you from time to time…your debates get heated, and it takes days to recover.
