According to Cassie, the music mogul began asserting control over her life shortly after they met when she was 19. The suit listsmany accusationsincluding sexual battery, sexual assault, and violations of New York City’s gender-motivated violence law.
In a statement shared with theNew York Times, Cassie said, “After years in silence and darkness, I am finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships.”
Now, an old interview with Kimora Lee Simmons has resurfaced in the wake of Cassie’s allegations.
